MINI was created in 1959 by the British Motor Corporation. It is considered as the most fuel efficient and driver friendly vehicle since its introduction. Besides this, MINI was considered as a British icon of the 60s. During those times, the popularity of MINI vehicles was brought about by layout that is space saving as well as its front-wheel driving feature. Although they are known for their small vehicles, MINI ceased producing their compact cars in 2000.
